Guests were privileged to hear from the President of the Australian Human Rights Commission, Professor Gillian Triggs, who discussed the origins of Australia’s obligations under international law.
It was, by all accounts, a compelling presentation.
As Dr Sally Dalton-Brown, the Dean of the College, noted in her address, the Trinity community has achieved much already this year, from academic progress to co-curricula endeavours in various fields.
Testament to this, the evening showcased a range of talent within our community, with performances from Andy Wang on the piano and two songs from the Trinity Tiger Tones.
The College musical cast and orchestra performed ‘Maybe This Time’, a song from their upcoming production of ‘Cabaret’.
