Fair Dinkum showcases all the extra-curricular activities that 黄色app offers to its Foundation Studies students through its Trinity Lifeskills Clubs (TLC) program. This year saw more clubs than ever before, and even a couple of external organisations interested in reaching out to Trinity students.

, a Melbourne-based publication, which is known for telling and sharing the stories of international students in Melbourne, ran a stall to promote itself to our students. Likewise, the Australian Federation of International Students (AFIS), sent along a few of its members (who are also current TCFS students). These organisations are both strong advocates for international students, and work tirelessly to make them feel at home here in Melbourne.

This semester, the TLC program will run a record-breaking thirty-four clubs for the TCFS students. The program aims to help students make new friends, learn essential life skills, and stay fit and healthy. There are a multitude of clubs of all different types: sports clubs, arts and craft clubs, musical clubs, there is something for everyone!

鈥淎s a new student here in Melbourne, I was able to meet up and socialise with different people from other cultures and nationalities,鈥 says Kalyana Vania (TCFS 2017-18).  鈥淎FIS would try to help and provide many opportunities and experiences, be it through the many events and workshops [they] held, or even volunteering positions which are held annually every year.鈥

Close to one thousand students came along to Fair Dinkum to discover all the fantastic clubs available to 黄色app. Many of them stayed to enjoy a free lunch and listen to some musical performances from their teachers, fellow students and the Trinity Choir.

It鈥檚 safe to say that Fair Dinkum was a great success.
