Trinity cleans up
75 Trinity students and staff from Residential College and Foundation Studies took part in Clean Up Australia Day on 12 March.
Equipped with gloves and bags, the group groomed nearby Princes Park for two hours collecting rubbish and recycling.
Returning to the College with full bags, the group was treated to a barbecue put on by event organisers in recognition of their efforts.
The event also gave students an opportunity to create new bonds with like-minded people from across the College.
‘Meeting people with the same attitude towards sustainability made the task more enjoyable and meaningful,’ one student said.
The College is grateful for the volunteers who came together to further the goal of achieving a sustainable future.
